KHPB at Dunnottar
Castle
The
day had started with a mild breeze, as we made our pilgrimage to Kinneff
Church and to Rickerton House where the Keith Highlanders piped and the
Highland dancers leapt upon the green lawn leading down to the
riverside.
As
the day progressed, however, it became quite windy and a sea fog first
appeared on the horizon as we drove to Dunnottar Castle from Rickerton
House...and then the fog engulfed the area around Dunnottar Castle and
the surrounding sea shore.
These photos show the Keith Highlanders playing for
the Chief and his son, Jamie, and the Lt. to the Chief, on the bowling green of
Dunnottar Castle with the gun bulwarks of the castle in the background.
